Inter Milan have officially won the 2025-26 Serie A championship, securing their 21st league title in the club’s history. The Nerazzurri wrapped up the Scudetto with three games remaining after defeating Torino 2-0 on Sunday evening.

Federico Dimarco has been one of the standout players this season, contributing to 25 goals across all competitions. The Italian defender used the celebration to send a message to those who questioned his abilities following last campaign’s struggles.

“This feeling is incredible. To see the city of Milan painted in black and blue colours is truly special,” Dimarco told InterTV. “It tastes like a fresh start after the painful disappointments of last season. We rebuilt together with the coaching staff and the squad. We worked extremely hard to achieve this dream of winning the 21st Scudetto.”

Dimarco spoke about the team’s unity during difficult periods. “We stayed together even when things were tough and people criticised us from every side. We always turned up to fight. Now we enjoy this trophy,” he said. “It means so much following what happened last year. I dedicate this success to everyone close to me, particularly those who said I was finished.”

The title triumph also creates history for manager Cristian Chivu. The Romanian becomes the first foreign coach to lift the Serie A trophy since José Mourinho led the club to glory 16 years ago.

Thousands of fans gathered at Piazza Duomo on Sunday night to celebrate with the players. Dimarco and club captain Javier Zanetti led the team into Milan’s main square to share the victory with the supporters.

Inter have dominated the league this term, winning 26 of their 35 matches. Marcus Thuram and Henrikh Mkhitaryan scored the decisive goals that confirmed the championship against Torino. This marks the club’s second league title in the past three years.
