  • Werder Bremen want to sign Le Havre striker Kenny Quetant this summer
  • The 19-year-old’s contract expires in June 2025 with no extension agreed
  • Quetant has scored one goal in ten appearances since his December debut
  • The move depends on Werder securing their Bundesliga survival

German club Werder Bremen are pushing hard to sign young forward Kenny Quetant from French side Le Havre. The 19-year-old centre-forward could make the switch to the Bundesliga when the transfer window opens.

The Paris-born attacker came through the youth ranks at Le Havre. His current deal runs out in June 2025. Talks between the clubs are at an advanced stage, though no final agreement exists yet.

Quetant made his professional debut in December. Since then, he has featured ten times across all competitions. He found the net for the first time in Ligue 1 during a match against Angers SCO in January. This goal came in just his second senior appearance.

The teenager has attracted interest from Germany for several months. However, the transfer hinges on Werder avoiding relegation. The club currently sits in 15th place. They enjoy a six-point cushion over VfL Wolfsburg, who occupy the relegation play-off spot in 16th. Only two matches remain in the season.
