Bayern Munich have received powerful support from two club legends ahead of their Champions League semi-final second leg against Paris Saint-Germain.

Hasan Salihamidžić, who served the Bavarian club as both a player and sporting director, is certain the team will advance. He trusts the home crowd will provide the edge needed at the Allianz Arena.

“We have the twelfth man in the stands. This stadium is our fortress. We hold a clear advantage here,” Salihamidžić told TZ München.

He urged the players to stay calm during the clash. They do not require a big lead at half-time. Instead, they can rely on their power in the closing stages.

“The squad is in top form. They are winning matches and fighting back even when defeat looks certain. There is no need for pressure against Paris,” he added.

Karl-Heinz Rummenigge, another iconic figure from the club’s history, offered similar backing. He stressed the value of humility and togetherness.

“You need humility, true team spirit, and self-belief to win major trophies. This team possesses all three. They respect Paris Saint-Germain, but they also know their own strengths,” Rummenigge explained.

He likened the players to the Three Musketeers, highlighting their “one for all, all for one” approach. The side has scored more than 80 goals at home this season.

Rummenigge also welcomed the return of manager Vincent Kompany to the dugout. The coach watched the first leg in Paris from the press box due to a ban.

“Vincent did not look happy sitting away from the pitch. I have complete faith in our team. I hope they secure their ticket to the final,” Rummenigge concluded.
