Italian referee Marco Guida will oversee the Coppa Italia Final between Lazio and Inter Milan this week. The 44-year-old official from Torre Annunziata near Naples has received his maiden appointment for this prestigious showpiece.

The clash takes place at the Stadio Olimpico on Wednesday, May 13. The match begins at 8:00 PM UK time. The winner will be decided after 90 minutes. Extra time and penalties may follow if the sides remain level.

Paolo Silvio Mazzoleni will operate the VAR system. He will work alongside assistant Aleandro Di Paolo in the video booth. Luca Zufferli will serve as the fourth official on the touchline. He will manage the technical areas for managers Maurizio Sarri and Cristian Chivu.

Guida has taken charge of 29 fixtures across all competitions this campaign. He has awarded 11 penalties and shown three direct red cards during those matches.

Inter Milan hold a favourable record with Guida in the middle. The Nerazzurri have won 17, drawn 10 and lost only six matches under his watch. However, five Inter players have received their marching orders in those fixtures.

Lazio’s record stands more balanced. The Biancocelesti have secured 12 victories, eight draws and suffered 12 defeats when Guida has officiated. Eight Lazio players have been sent off in these encounters.
