Atalanta president Luca Percassi says the club will listen to offers for midfielder Ederson this summer. The Brazilian has caught the eye of Manchester United and Atletico Madrid.

Percassi explained that no formal proposals have arrived at the Gewiss Stadium. He noted that only initial enquiries have come from interested teams. He also said that clubs rarely make serious moves before the current campaign finishes.

Ederson is 26 years old. He has played four seasons for Atalanta. This term, he has scored three goals and made two assists in 40 appearances. His contract runs until June 2027.

Italian reports claim Atalanta want about €40 million for the player. Both Manchester United and the La Liga side are watching developments closely.

Percassi also addressed speculation about Cristiano Giuntoli becoming the new sporting director. Some reports claimed the former Juventus and Napoli executive would replace Tony D’Amico. However, Percassi stated that no agreement has been reached. He praised Giuntoli as one of the finest directors in Italy but confirmed that several clubs have approached him.

Atalanta beat AC Milan 3-2 on Sunday. They now sit seventh in the Serie A table.
