AS Monaco travel to RC Strasbourg Alsace for their final Ligue 1 match of the campaign. Manager Sébastien Pocognoli cannot call upon several senior stars. His side needs a victory, but a lengthy injury list has weakened the squad.

Paul Pogba misses the clash. The midfielder picked up a minor knock and has made only one start for the club this term. Officials did not explain the exact nature of his setback.

Aleksandr Golovin is another big loss. The Russian attacking midfielder fractured his finger and stayed behind with the medical staff. Left-back Caio Henrique works alone in training, but he remains sidelined.

Eric Dier will also watch from the stands. The defender twisted his ankle and failed his fitness test. Full-backs Vanderson and Kassoum Ouattara are rebuilding their match sharpness, yet neither is ready for selection. Young forward Stanis Idumbo is unavailable too.

Long-term absentees Takumi Minamino and Mohamed Salisu are still out. Both stars are recovering from ACL surgery. They have missed most of the campaign with these serious knee problems.

Monaco may line up with Lukas Hradecky in goal. The back four could include Christian Mawissa, Wout Faes, Thilo Kehrer and Jordan Teze. Denis Zakaria and Lamine Camara might control the centre of the pitch. In attack, Simon Adingra, Ansu Fati and Maghnes Akliouche could support lead striker Folarin Balogun.

The clash in Alsace offers Monaco a chance to finish the season on a high note despite their selection problems.
