Beppe Marotta has described winning the Scudetto as the realisation of a lifelong ambition. The FC Internazionale Milano president celebrated his first league title since assuming his current role.

The squad shared their triumph with supporters on Sunday. They travelled aboard an open-top bus through the streets of Milan to display the trophy.

Speaking to Internazionale 21, Marotta shared his personal journey. He revealed that he had dreamed of a future in football since boyhood. He admitted he never knew if this vision would actually materialise.

Achieving this milestone as leader of the Nerazzurri makes the moment particularly special, he explained. The 68-year-old also paid tribute to former presidents who held the post before him.

Marotta expressed gratitude toward owners Oaktree Capital Management. He noted that they enabled the club to work with tranquillity and foresight. Their support came quietly without public interference.

The president called the championship a collective achievement. He credited both the players who compete weekly and the staff who maintain a united group.

Head coach Cristian Chivu received particular commendation. The Romanian guided the team to both the Scudetto and Coppa Italia in his first full campaign in charge. Marotta stated they selected Chivu specifically for his bravery. The manager has become a reference point for the players during matches and at the training ground.

The supporters also earned recognition for their constant presence. Marotta declared that the fans’ daily passion makes them part of this success. He concluded by looking toward the future. “We are Inter, and our story goes on,” he said.
