  • Gleison Bremer will miss the final Serie A match after receiving his fifth yellow card against Fiorentina
  • The Brazilian centre-back has a €58m release clause that clubs can trigger during the first ten days of August
  • Premier League rivals Liverpool and Manchester United are reportedly leading the race for his signature
  • Bremer moved to Juventus from city rivals Torino in 2022 for €41m plus additional bonuses

Italian media report that Gleison Bremer may have already worn the Juventus shirt for the last time. The Brazil international received his fifth booking of the campaign during Sunday’s 2-0 home defeat to Fiorentina. This suspension means he will sit out the Derby della Mole against Torino this weekend.

However, the yellow card might not be the only reason Bremer misses future matches in Turin. Several outlets suggest the defender could leave the club this summer. Both Liverpool and Manchester United are reportedly ready to pay his release clause.

The clause stands at €58 million. Sources indicate it becomes active during the first ten days of August. This gives interested clubs a short window to secure the centre-back’s services.

Bremer has established himself as a key figure in Juventus’s defence since arriving in 2022. The club paid €41m plus add-ons to sign him from local rivals Torino. Across three seasons, he has made 121 appearances in all competitions. He has found the net 12 times, with 11 of those goals coming in Italy’s top flight.

Now, the Premier League beckons. Both Merseyside and Manchester clubs view the Brazilian as a solution to their defensive needs. If either team triggers the clause, Bremer’s eight-year stay in Turin will come to an end.
