AC Milan are preparing to make an official approach for Gonçalo Ramos when the summer transfer window opens, according to reports from Italian publication Gazzetta dello Sport. The Serie A giants view the 24-year-old Portugal international as the ideal candidate to strengthen their forward line ahead of European competition.

Manager Massimiliano Allegri has made signing a new centre-forward a top priority. He wants a player who can lead the line effectively in the Champions League. The Rossoneri believe Ramos fits this profile perfectly, despite knowing that Paris Saint-Germain will demand a substantial fee for his signature.

The transfer faces significant obstacles. Ramos is tied to the French club until 2028, and PSG are unlikely to let him leave cheaply. The Portuguese striker has earned 24 caps for his national team, scoring 10 goals.

If the deal proves too expensive, Milan have alternative targets. These include Serhou Guirassy from Borussia Dortmund, Nicolas Jackson from Chelsea, Alexander Sørloth from Atlético Madrid, and Dušan Vlahović from Juventus.

Although Ramos is not a guaranteed starter under manager Luis Enrique, he has still contributed this campaign. The forward has made 44 appearances across all competitions, finding the net 12 times and providing two assists.
