RC Strasbourg Alsace could lose Sébastien Nanasi this summer. The Swedish attacker joined the club just 24 months ago for €11 million. Now, bigger clubs are circling.
VfB Stuttgart and AFC Ajax both want the 24-year-old. Reports from journalist Mohamed Toubache-Ter suggest both clubs have made official approaches. The French side received offers of €18 million and €19.5 million. However, they turned both down immediately.
Strasbourg value their player much higher. They demand €25 million upfront. They also want an additional €2 million in performance-related bonuses.
Nanasi enjoyed a productive campaign despite limited starts. He scored 10 goals and created five more across 34 outings. Yet he often sat on the bench during crucial matches. Teammate Martial Godo took his place on the left flank for the biggest games.
The Sweden international still attracted attention with his end product. Stuttgart hope to add him to their squad after a strong Bundesliga season. Ajax also chase his signature following their domestic success.
The Ligue 1 outfit hope to keep Nanasi. They will only sell if someone meets their asking price.
