French midfielder Enzo Bardeli is close to sealing a transfer to Levante UD. The 25-year-old will leave USL Dunkerque to sign for the Spanish club.

Cadena Ser reports that Bardeli will put pen to paper on a contract that runs until 2029. The agreement covers three years. His present deal with the French outfit runs out next June.

Bardeli has been a vital figure for Dunkerque this term. He has started all 36 matches he has played across every competition. The player has found the net 10 times and set up seven goals for his team-mates.

During his spell at the northern French club, he has made 152 appearances in total. He has scored 21 goals and provided 19 assists for the Ligue 2 side.

Levante finished 16th in La Liga last season. Luís Castro manages the Valencia-based club. He joined from FC Nantes last December. Castro has previously worked with Bardeli at Dunkerque.

The Portuguese coach helped Levante avoid relegation. His side won nine matches and drew five of their fixtures. They lost only eight games under his guidance.

Now Bardeli will work with Castro again. The transfer will see the Coudekerque-Branche native experience football in a new country.
