Inter Milan have set a €40 million asking price for centre-back Yann Bisseck. Bayern Munich want to sign the German defender this summer. However, the Bavarian club must sell Kim Min-Jae before they can complete the deal.
The Nerazzurri recently won the domestic double. Now they face a major squad rebuild. Several experienced defenders will leave at the end of June. Francesco Acerbi, Matteo Darmian and likely Stefan De Vrij are all departing. This leaves gaps in the back line.
Bisseck missed out on recent Germany selection despite his club success. The 23-year-old thinks a transfer to Bayern would boost his international hopes under Julian Nagelsmann. Bayern view him as a key target to strengthen their defence.
But the German champions need to raise funds first. Kim Min-Jae is the player they hope to sell. Juventus and AC Milan both want the South Korean centre-back. Inter will accept offers near €40m for Bisseck once Bayern sort their outgoing transfers.
