German giants Borussia Dortmund will sell four young squad members during the summer transfer window. The Bundesliga side wants to raise funds but protect its long-term interests.
Attackers Kjell Wätjen, Cole Campbell and Julien Duranville are all available. Each player is 20 years old. Goalkeeper Diant Ramaj, aged 24, also faces the exit door after a loan spell at 1. FC Heidenheim.
Ramaj wants consistent first-team minutes. This looks unlikely at Dortmund because Gregor Kobel remains the firm number one choice. The Swiss keeper plans to stay at the club.
BVB officials insist on special contract terms. They want buy-back options that allow Dortmund to re-sign any of the four stars if they shine at new clubs.
RC Strasbourg in France may capture Duranville. Meanwhile, Campbell could remain in the Bundesliga with TSG Hoffenheim after a successful loan period there. No concrete offers have arrived yet for Wätjen or Ramaj.
