Sky Germany reports that Borussia Mönchengladbach are monitoring SV Darmstadt 98 forward Isac Lidberg. The Bundesliga side have already opened talks with the 27-year-old and his current club about a potential summer move.
The Swedish international found the net 17 times in 30 matches during the recently finished 2. Bundesliga season. He has earned three caps for his national team.
Lidberg’s contract with Darmstadt expires in 2027. This situation forces the second division club to consider serious offers this window. They have already lost fellow striker Frasier Hornby to VfL Wolfsburg.
