Bayern Munich are edging closer to securing the signature of Nathaniel Brown from Eintracht Frankfurt. The reigning German champions have reached a personal agreement with the 22-year-old defender. He is prepared to commit his future to the Bavarian side until 2031.
However, the two clubs must still settle on a transfer fee. Reports from Sky Germany indicate that Bayern have tabled an offer of approximately €50 million. Eintracht Frankfurt are holding out for around €60 million. This leaves a gap of just €10 million between the two parties.
Sources suggest the player is keen to make the switch to the Allianz Arena. With Brown actively pushing for the transfer, negotiations are expected to progress quickly. The deal appears achievable despite the remaining financial difference.
The left-back is currently away on international duty. He is part of Germany’s squad for the World Cup and started their recent friendly match. Germany secured a comfortable 4-0 victory against Finland last Sunday.
