Olympique Lyonnais are searching for new attacking players. The French club see a chance to sign Jonathan David. They hope to benefit from Randal Kolo Muani’s transfer to Juventus.

Italian newspaper La Stampa confirms this possibility. The report says Lyon want the 26-year-old Canadian forward. It claims Juventus might loan David to the Ligue 1 side.

Kolo Muani joined Juventus last summer. The 27-year-old has struggled to fit in at the Italian club. He has scored only eight goals in 46 appearances.

Because of this, Juventus could let him leave Turin. The club’s management are ready to cover part of David’s wages. The striker earns €11 million per year.

Lyon hope this transfer works like the Endrick case. The 19-year-old Brazilian moved to France and improved his game. He is now part of Carlo Ancelotti’s plans for the 2026 World Cup.
