The Serie A side have submitted formal proposals for both players and are relying on the duo’s desire to move to Turin to push negotiations across the line.
Kolo Muani deal edges closer
The France international has emerged as the Bianconeri’s primary attacking target. Juventus have tabled an offer worth slightly above €40 million including bonuses, though this remains below Paris Saint-Germain’s initial €50 million valuation. Mediators Giovanni Carnevali and Frederic Massara have worked to cool tensions between the clubs and bridge the financial gap, with talks ongoing regarding variable elements and a potential sell-on clause. Kolo Muani’s firm wish to join Juventus is considered the club’s strongest asset in securing a reduction from the French champions.
Lucumi waiting on defensive sales
Colombian centre-back Jhon Lucumi has put offers from Galatasaray and Besiktas on hold specifically to honour his understanding with Juventus. However, advancing talks with Bologna depends on the Turin club first completing the sale of a defender to create room in the squad and budget. Carnevali recently discussed the situation with Bologna chief Claudio Fenucci on the margins of the Lega assembly, but the deal remains conditional on outgoing business.
Goalkeeper hunt intensifies
Between the posts, head coach Luciano Spalletti continues to push for Emiliano Martinez and is prepared to wait a few more days for the Argentine. With time tightening, Juventus are simultaneously accelerating talks with alternatives. Guglielmo Vicario is keen to return to Italy and reunite with Spalletti, his former Italy national team manager. The Tottenham goalkeeper is currently out of Roberto De Zerbi’s plans and skipped the club’s pre-season tour. A loan deal with an option to buy set around €15 million has been mooted. Zion Suzuki represents another option, though the Japanese international carries a valuation of at least €30 million and attracts competing interest from Paris Saint-Germain and Aston Villa.
