“The reports that our club has reached an agreement with Jamal Musiala and Bayern Munich are not true,” the Istanbul-based club stated, according to Turkish media reports. “This is hereby brought to the public’s attention.”
Origins of the speculation
Reports in Turkey had raised the possibility of Musiala making a surprise switch to the Süper Lig champions. Such a move would have represented a major coup for Galatasaray, given Musiala’s status as one of Europe’s most promising attacking talents.
