The loan agreement comes at a cost of €2.5 million to Juventus, with an additional €300,000 in ancillary costs. Should Juventus decide to make the move permanent, they will have an option to buy Sarr for €27.5 million, payable over three financial years.

Sarr’s Career Path

The 23-year-old midfielder began his career in Senegal before moving to French side Metz. He signed with Tottenham in 2021 but remained on loan with Metz for the 2021-22 season. During his time with Spurs, Sarr accumulated over 100 Premier League appearances and was part of the squad that won the Europa League in the 2024/25 season.

Sarr is known for his dynamic and versatile playing style, combining physicality with skill and intensity across both attacking and defensive phases of the game. On the international stage, he has been a key player for Senegal, notably contributing to their success in the 2022 Africa Cup of Nations.

Impact on Juventus

Sarr’s arrival marks Juventus’s seventh signing of the summer transfer window, as the club continues to bolster its squad. His blend of Premier League experience and international pedigree is expected to add significant depth and quality to the Bianconeri midfield as they embark on their new campaign.
