Bayern Munich’s honorary president Uli Hoeneß has spoken about his ideal transfer target before the Champions League semi-final against Paris Saint-Germain.

Speaking to DAZN, Hoeneß said he would sign Achraf Hakimi immediately. The 27-year-old defender would fit perfectly into the Bayern team, according to the club legend.

“I would take him immediately, because he would fit in very well with us,” Hoeneß explained.

Hakimi already knows German football well. The Morocco international spent two seasons on loan at Borussia Dortmund from Real Madrid between 2018 and 2020.

However, the wing-back will not feature in Wednesday’s return leg at the Allianz Arena. He picked up an injury during the first leg in Paris last week and is unavailable for selection.
