TSG Hoffenheim have given their managing director for sport, Andreas Schicker, a new long-term contract. The Bundesliga side confirmed the agreement on Wednesday.

The club chose not to reveal the exact length of the deal. However, Sky Germany reports that the contract runs until 2030.

Club shareholder Dietmar Hopp praised Schicker’s recent work. He said the Austrian has provided clear direction during difficult periods. Hopp added that keeping Schicker ensures stability for the club’s future.

In a separate move, Hoffenheim appointed Daniel Förderer as a second managing director. He will oversee commercial areas including marketing, sales and digital operations.

Chairman André Kreuzwieser welcomed the appointment. He said Förderer brings strong business expertise. Kreuzwieser believes he will make the club more efficient.
