FC Nantes centre-back Tylel Tati has claimed the Golden Kid Pro 2026 award. The 18-year-old beat four other top young talents to win this prize. The honour recognises the best player who made his professional debut during this campaign.
Tati finished ahead of Quentin Ndjantou from Paris Saint-Germain, Rémi Himbert from Olympique Lyonnais, Alexis Vossah from Toulouse FC and Stephan Zagadou from Le Havre. He follows last year’s winner Kader Meïté into the record books. Meïté previously played for Stade Rennais.
The young defender has started 21 games for Nantes this season. He established himself at the heart of the team’s defence. Sadly, an injury in mid-April forced him to end his season early. He could only watch as his teammates fought a difficult battle against relegation to Ligue 2.
The awards ceremony took place on Monday at the Pan Piper venue in Paris. This marked the second year of the Golden Kids event. A panel of foreign scouts, journalists and sporting directors selected the winners. They judged 43 nominees across eight separate categories.
Several Paris Saint-Germain academy stars collected prizes. Aymen Assab, aged 17, won best player in the U19 national league. David Boly, also 17, won best overage player in the same division. Tanté Diakité, another 17-year-old from the club, took home the Golden Kid Pro 2026 award.
Other winners included Oumar Camara from Vitória SC. The 18-year-old received the Golden Kid Pro International 2026 award. In the U17 section, Aly Traoré from Amiens SC won the main prize. Yanis Kharbouch from ESTAC Troyes claimed the Golden Kid Avenir U17 award. Finally, Ajdin Muninovic from Olympique Lyonnais scored the Goal of the Season.
