Manuel Neuer has committed his future to FC Bayern Munich by agreeing a one-year contract extension. The legendary shot-stopper will now stay at the Bundesliga club until the summer of 2027.
According to Sky Germany, both the player and the club have settled on terms for the new agreement. The formal signing should take place prior to Bayern’s final fixture of the season against 1. FC Köln this Saturday.
As part of the new deal, the 40-year-old has accepted a wage decrease. His current earnings stand at approximately €20 million per season. This reduction has helped facilitate the extension despite his age.
