Brentford FC are preparing a huge offer to sign teenage talent Said El Mala from FC Köln. Reports from Germany claim the Premier League club will bid around €40 million for the attacker.

The fee would match the asking price set by the Bundesliga side. However, El Mala may not want to leave Germany at this time.

Sources close to the player say his parents prefer he stays in the German top flight. They reportedly favour a move to Borussia Dortmund instead.

Bayern Munich have also shown interest in the quick-footed 19-year-old. The current champions could rival Brentford for his signature.

A deal which sees El Mala join Brentford but return to Köln on loan next season looks unlikely. Experts rule out this possibility.

Other English clubs are also keen on the youngster. Chelsea, Newcastle United and Brighton & Hove Albion all admire the FC Köln star.

El Mala signed a long-term contract that keeps him at the German club until 2030. This gives Köln a strong position in any talks.
