Inter Milan have announced full details of their end-of-season party to honour a historic campaign. The Italian giants will mark their domestic double with celebrations centred around their final league fixture against Hellas Verona.

The Stadio Meazza will welcome supporters from 12:00 local time on Sunday. A pre-match ceremony will take place on the pitch, hosted by television presenters Daniele Battaglia and Elenoire Casalengo. In tribute to their 21st Scudetto, the club has invited 21 famous figures from music, sport and media to appear on stage. The players will enter the field through a specially-designed tifo.

Officials will present the Serie A trophy to the squad immediately after kick-off. Inter lifted the Coppa Italia earlier in the season, and this cup will also feature during the post-match events.

Once the match concludes, the team will embark on an open-top bus tour of Milan. The parade will pass landmarks including the San Siro before finishing at the Piazza del Duomo. Thousands of Nerazzurri fans are expected to gather in the city centre to salute their champions.

This success marks the first time since Jose Mourinho’s reign that Inter have captured both major domestic honours in one season. Chivu has accomplished the feat in his debut full year as head coach.
