Ousmane Dembélé has delivered reassuring news to Paris Saint-Germain supporters. The French forward has promised he will be completely fit to face Arsenal in the Champions League final later this month.

The 29-year-old left the pitch early during last Sunday’s match against Paris FC. He went off after just half an hour in the 2-1 victory. However, the current Ballon d’Or holder says this was only a safety measure.

Speaking to RMC Sport, Dembélé described the issue as a minor warning. He stated clearly that he has zero doubts about his condition. He believes he will be one hundred percent fit to face the Gunners.

“I have suffered many small and major injuries during my career,” explained the PSG star. “This happened at Paris Saint-Germain and at my former clubs. With such an important match coming, I decided to stop. I did not want to take any chances.”

The attacker has played 39 games this season. He started in 24 of them. His record shows 19 goals and 11 assists.

Dembélé recently won the Ligue 1 Player of the Season award. He will also play for France at the World Cup this summer. Now he wants to win his second Champions League trophy.
