Juventus are actively searching for fresh creative talent to strengthen their midfield engine room. The Italian giants have found it difficult to break down opponents this season, and the coaching staff want immediate reinforcements.

Bernardo Silva from Manchester City had been the primary target for the Bianconeri. However, reports now suggest the Portuguese star favours a move to Atletico Madrid. This switch looks even more likely if Juventus fail to secure a place in next season’s Champions League.

With the Silva deal fading, the club have identified two new candidates. According to sources, Manchester City’s Tijjani Reijnders and Real Madrid’s Brahim Diaz have both been shortlisted.

Reijnders moved to the Etihad Stadium from AC Milan last summer in a deal worth €55 million plus add-ons. Although he began his time in England brightly, he has found regular starts hard to come by recently. The Dutch international has scored seven goals and provided eight assists across 46 matches for City, but only 29 of those appearances were from the beginning of the match. He has started just once in the last thirteen games.

The midfielder could reportedly leave on a temporary basis with a compulsory purchase clause set at €40 million. However, his yearly wages of €7 million present a significant hurdle for the Italian side.

Brahim Diaz offers another intriguing possibility for the Turin outfit. The Spanish attacker previously spent three successful years with the Rossoneri between 2020 and 2023 before heading back to the Bernabeu. His current contract with Real Madrid runs until June 2027.
