Colombia have announced their full squad for the 2026 FIFA World Cup. Head coach Néstor Lorenzo revealed the 26 players late on Monday night, European time.
Liverpool forward Luis Díaz will lead the attack for Los Cafeteros. The Premier League star has been in excellent form for his club this season. He is one of the most important players in the group.
Veteran midfielder James Rodríguez is also in the team. He has played for top European clubs including Real Madrid and Everton. His experience will help the younger players. Bayer Leverkusen’s Gustavo Puerta is another key name in midfield.
The defence features Crystal Palace’s Daniel Muñoz and Galatasaray centre-back Davinson Sánchez. Veteran goalkeeper David Ospina will guard the net.
Lorenzo has chosen a mix of youth and experience. Some squad members play in major European leagues. Others come from the Colombian domestic league.
The team will travel to North America for the tournament. Colombian supporters will hope this squad can make a deep run in the competition.
