Hertha BSC have made VfB Stuttgart’s teenage midfielder Noah Darvich their number one target for the 2026-27 season. The second-tier Berlin side hope to secure the 19-year-old on a loan deal to boost their squad.

According to German publication Bild, scouts at Hertha have monitored the Germany U-17 international closely. The talented youngster previously captained his country to victory in both the World Cup and European Championship at youth level.

Darvich spent last season playing for Stuttgart’s second team in the 3. Liga. He enjoyed an impressive campaign, finding the net ten times and creating six assists for his team-mates across 29 outings.

Several clubs across Germany want to sign him. Hertha believe they can promise more regular playing time than Bundesliga outfit Werder Bremen. Meanwhile, VfL Wolfsburg, who recently dropped down a division, are also keeping close tabs on the situation.

Transfer market experts currently value the attacking midfielder at approximately €4 million. A temporary switch to the 2. Bundesliga could provide the perfect stage for him to develop further.
