Juventus are on the verge of securing the return of Randal Kolo Muani from Paris Saint-Germain, with an official announcement expected imminently following successful talks between the clubs.
According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, the Serie A side are close to finalising an agreement that would see the French international rejoin the Bianconeri initially on loan. The arrangement includes an obligation to buy, with the total transfer package valued at approximately €30 million.
Personal Terms and Pre-season Plans
The 26-year-old has already agreed personal terms on a five-year contract with Juventus. The club expect him to be available for the first day of pre-season training on July 13, allowing him to integrate fully with the squad ahead of the new campaign.
Kolo Muani is familiar with the Allianz Stadium, having spent the second half of the 2024-25 season on loan in Turin. During that spell, he scored 10 goals in 22 appearances across all competitions under former manager Igor Tudor. His contribution has convinced the hierarchy to pursue a permanent arrangement despite the managerial change.
Diplomatic Repairs
The negotiations represent a significant diplomatic achievement for new General Manager and CEO Giovanni Carnevali. Relations between the clubs had deteriorated during previous talks conducted by former director Damien Comolli last summer. PSG directors were reportedly unhappy with Comolli’s conduct during earlier negotiations, but Carnevali has successfully rebuilt these bridges to facilitate the transfer.
This improved relationship has allowed Juventus to structure a deal that provides immediate attacking reinforcement while spreading the financial commitment.
Juventus have already begun their summer recruitment drive by confirming the signing of 19-year-old Italy international Jeff Ekhator from Genoa earlier this week. The arrival of Kolo Muani would further bolster their offensive options ahead of the upcoming season.
