Paris FC have submitted a higher bid than Fiorentina for Burnley winger Luca Koleosho, but the Serie A club have warned the Clarets they will not engage in a bidding war for the Italy international.
Paris FC raise the stakes
Fiorentina tabled an €11m offer for the 21-year-old last week and held further discussions with Burnley on Monday. However, Sky Sport Italia reports that the English club informed the Viola that the French side have now outbid them.
The development places Koleosho in a difficult position. The forward spent the second half of the 2025-26 campaign on loan at Paris FC, giving him prior experience of the club. He made his senior debut for Italy in June under caretaker coach Silvio Baldini, raising his profile ahead of the transfer window.
Viola draw line at €11m
Fiorentina have decided to cap their offer at €11m and will not increase their proposal to match their French rivals. They are prepared to sign Koleosho only on their own terms, leaving the forward’s future uncertain.
It remains unclear whether the winger prefers a return to Paris FC or a move to Tuscany. Burnley must now decide whether to accept Fiorentina’s lower but firm offer, or pursue the superior financial package from Paris FC.
Dragusin seals defensive reinforcement
While negotiations for Koleosho stall, Fiorentina have secured defensive reinforcements. Radu Dragusin has joined from Tottenham Hotspur, with the former Genoa centre-back arriving in Italy on Tuesday to undergo medical examinations and finalise his contract at the Stadio Franchi.
