Paris Saint-Germain have opened the bidding process for Randal Kolo Muani after losing patience with Juventus‘s financial constraints. The France international is set to leave the Parc des Princes this summer following an unsettled spell in the French capital.
Kolo Muani spent the second half of the 2024/25 season on loan at Juventus, where the former Eintracht Frankfurt forward enjoyed a productive stint in Serie A. That spell made a permanent return to Turin his priority, but the Italian club’s ongoing economic difficulties have left them unable to provide the financial guarantees required to meet PSG’s demands.
Turbulent season across leagues
The 27-year-old’s campaign has been nomadic. He endured a difficult spell with Tottenham Hotspur in the Premier League before securing the temporary switch to Juventus in January. Despite his struggles in North London, he rediscovered his form in Italy, performances that convinced him his future lay with the Bianconeri.
Initially, PSG respected the player’s wishes by engaging in exclusive negotiations with Juventus. The Ligue 1 champions sought to accommodate Kolo Muani’s preference out of respect for his successful loan period. However, with the Turin side unable to resolve their monetary issues, that exclusive arrangement has now collapsed.
Fresh competition emerges
With the Juventus route now uncertain, interest in the striker is reportedly growing from clubs in both the Premier League and the Bundesliga. PSG have officially widened the bidding pool to include these suitors, though specific interested parties have not been disclosed.
The forward’s departure from Paris appears inevitable, but his destination remains unresolved. While Kolo Muani maintains hope of a Juventus return, the Serie A club’s financial paralysis may force him to consider alternative opportunities in England or Germany before the transfer window closes.
