Paris FC are reportedly poised to complete the signing of striker Pablo Pagis from FC Lorient. The deal is understood to be worth approximately €15 million, with additional bonuses of around €1.5 million included in the agreement.

The 23-year-old forward is expected to sign a five-year contract with the Parisian side, committing his future to the club until 2031. The bonus payments are understood to be contingent upon Paris FC qualifying for European competition, reflecting the club’s ambitions for the upcoming season.

Pagis joins following a productive campaign with Les Merlus, where he scored 10 goals and provided four assists across 28 Ligue 1 matches during the 2025-26 season. His performances in the French top flight attracted attention from several rival clubs.

Race for signature

Paris FC faced competition from multiple Ligue 1 sides in their pursuit of the striker. RC Lens, Olympique Lyonnais and Strasbourg-Alsace were all credited with an interest in securing Pagis’s services, but the capital club appear to have won the battle for his signature.

Ambitious recruitment drive

The capture of Pagis forms part of a wider strategy to strengthen the squad. The club has already secured the signing of 18-year-old Emmanuel Mbemba, while the official announcement of defender Diego Coppola’s arrival is expected within hours. The 22-year-old is set to become the latest addition to the playing staff.

If completed, the transfer would represent a significant statement of intent from Paris FC as they prepare for the new campaign, bolstering their attacking options with a player who has proven his quality at Ligue 1 level.
