Borussia Dortmund and 1. FC Köln have registered interest in taking Tottenham Hotspur winger Mikey Moore on loan ahead of the new season, though any temporary move would likely exclude an option to buy.

The 18-year-old England Under-19 international established himself as one of British football’s promising attacking talents during a season-long spell at Rangers. Operating primarily from wide positions, he contributed seven goals and four assists across 47 appearances in all competitions, gaining valuable experience in the Scottish Premiership and European fixtures.

His form in Glasgow has attracted attention from several continental clubs seeking reinforcements in the final third. PSV Eindhoven are also understood to be monitoring Moore’s situation as they assess their options ahead of the Dutch campaign.

However, Tottenham consider the winger a central part of their long-term strategy, having secured him to a contract extension that keeps him at the club until 2030. This firm commitment to Moore’s future suggests Spurs would resist any attempts to include a purchase clause in a loan arrangement.

For interested clubs, this stance means any deal would likely be structured as a straight loan without a pathway to a permanent transfer. Such an arrangement would suit Tottenham’s desire to see the teenager continue his development through regular first-team football while maintaining control over his long-term future.

Moore initially broke into the Tottenham first-team setup under previous management before seeking consistent senior minutes in Scotland. A switch to Germany, whether with Bundesliga side Dortmund or second-tier Köln, would offer another significant step in his progression, exposing him to a different tactical environment and higher physical demands than he encountered in the Scottish top flight.

The north London club are expected to assess their squad depth and attacking options before sanctioning any departure, balancing Moore’s potential contribution against the benefits of further loan experience. With his contract running for another five years, Tottenham can afford to be selective about his next destination, prioritising playing time over financial return.
