PULSER Football is pleased to announce the release of a new Fantasy Bundesliga fixture difficulty planner, designed to assist managers in optimising their squads for the upcoming Matchdays 5 through 9.
This comprehensive tool offers a strategic overview of upcoming fixtures, categorising their difficulty to help fantasy players make informed decisions regarding player transfers and captaincy choices.
Understanding the Fixture Difficulty Planners
The planner presents two distinct approaches to assessing fixture difficulty, providing a nuanced perspective for fantasy managers.
The first planner bases its difficulty ratings on the final standings of the 2025-26 Bundesliga season. In this system, teams that finished in the top three are marked in red, indicating the most challenging fixtures. Clubs that placed between fourth and seventh are categorised as orange. Mid-table teams, finishing from eighth to eleventh, are yellow, while those in positions 12 to 15 are light green, suggesting easier encounters. Newly promoted teams are highlighted in dark green, representing the most favourable fixtures.
The second planner evaluates fixture difficulty based on the current 2026-27 Bundesliga season standings, specifically after the first four games. This method uses the same colour-coding system: red for teams in the top three, orange for those in 4th-7th, yellow for 8th-11th, light green for 12th-15th, and dark green for teams in 16th-18th place. It is important to note that this planner’s effectiveness will grow as the season progresses and teams’ true form becomes more established.
How to Utilise the Planner
The colour-coded system is intuitive, ranging from red, signifying the most difficult fixtures, to dark green, indicating the easiest. Fantasy managers can use this visual guide to identify periods where their players face a run of challenging opponents or, conversely, a series of more favourable matches.
By comparing both planners, managers can gain a deeper understanding of fixture difficulty, considering both historical performance and current form. This dual perspective can be crucial for making strategic long-term and short-term decisions in Fantasy Bundesliga.
