Juventus are willing to sell central defender Gleison Bremer for significantly less than his €58 million release clause, with the Serie A club prepared to accept offers in the region of €45m-€50m.
According to reports in Italy, the Bianconeri have established a firm floor of €40m for the 29-year-old Brazil international. While they will not entertain bids below that minimum threshold, they have indicated flexibility on the full buy-out amount as they look to generate significant funds from player sales during the current transfer window.
Bayern emerge as primary suitors
Bayern Munich have emerged as the frontrunners for Bremer’s signature. The German champions are actively seeking to reinforce their defensive options and have identified the Brazilian as a viable target despite concerns surrounding his recent fitness record.
Bremer has endured a challenging period, struggling with a series of knee injuries that have limited his availability for selection. He was also omitted from Brazil’s squad for the 2026 World Cup, forced to watch from the sidelines as Arsenal’s Gabriel Magalhães and Paris Saint-Germain’s Marquinhos featured in the tournament. This international absence has done little to enhance his standing in the transfer market.
These circumstances, combined with his age, have restricted the pool of clubs capable of meeting even the reduced valuation to a handful of European sides. Tottenham Hotspur had previously been linked with a move for the former Torino centre-half, but their recent acquisitions of Marcos Senesi and Jean-Paul van Hecke suggest they have turned their attention elsewhere.
Juventus ready to sacrifice established stars
Bremer is not the only high-profile player who could depart Turin this summer. Juventus are contemplating the sale of several key assets, with midfielder Khephren Thuram and defender Andrea Cambiaso also available should suitable offers materialise.
Despite establishing himself as Juventus’s first-choice centre-back in recent campaigns, Bremer’s availability signals a significant squad overhaul is underway. With Bayern Munich circling and the valuation now negotiable, a transfer to the Bundesliga represents the most likely resolution if the German club can meet the revised €40m-€50m asking price.
