Sassuolo and Puma have officially unveiled their new third kit for the 2026/27 season, introducing an Electro Royal blue design with thin white stripes. This fresh look marks a distinct alternative to the club’s traditional colours, offering fans a unique aesthetic for the upcoming campaign.
A Distinctive Design with Purpose
The choice of Electro Royal blue for the new kit is a deliberate one, directly aligning with the corporate identity of Mapei, the company that owns the club and holds naming rights for their stadium. This specific shade of blue is prominently featured in the Mapei logo, creating a visual link between the club and its ownership. The kit is further enhanced by subtle vertical stripes in PUMA White, a colour also present in the Sassuolo Calcio crest and the main sponsor’s emblem on the chest.
While the Neroverdi are famously known for their traditional green and black home colours, this third kit provides a modern and unique aesthetic. In a move reflecting broader environmental commitments, the new third kit has been manufactured using RE:FIBRE technology. This innovative process involves reusing recycled textiles to create new material, underscoring a dedication to sustainability within football apparel production.
Current Season Performance
Under the guidance of new coach Alberto Aquilani, Sassuolo has commenced the current season with a mixed record. Across Serie A and the Coppa Italia, the team has secured four wins, one draw, and suffered two defeats. This early season form provides the backdrop against which the club introduces its latest kit, as they continue their campaign with a fresh look.
