Bayern Munich are searching for a new midfielder ahead of next season. The Bundesliga champions must fill the gap when Leon Goretzka leaves the club this summer.

The German giants have turned their attention to Ayyoub Bouaddi. The 18-year-old stars for Lille in France. Transfer specialist Abdellah Boulma reports that Bayern have renewed their interest in the young talent.

Bouaddi is one of the brightest prospects in Ligue 1. He is on the shortlist for the Young Player of the Season award. The midfielder has already played 93 matches for Lille’s first team. Twenty-five of these games came in European competitions.

However, Bayern face a tough fight for his signature. Paris Saint-Germain also want the player. Two major English clubs are watching him too. Both Arsenal and Manchester United hope to win the race for his services.

The Bavarian club could look at young German players instead. Noël Aséko Nkili and Kennet Eichhorn are options from within the country. Yet the club seems focused on bringing Bouaddi to Munich.
