Adam Karabec will depart Olympique Lyonnais when his temporary spell concludes. French publication L’Équipe confirms the 22-year-old midfielder is not part of the club’s future plans.

The Czech international joined the Ligue 1 side last summer. He arrived with fellow countryman Pavel Sulc. However, manager Paulo Fonseca rarely selected him in the starting line-up. Sulc enjoyed more opportunities on the pitch.

Karabec featured in 34 matches across all competitions. Yet he started only eleven times in the league. His record shows three goals and three assists.

Slavia Prague included a purchase option in the loan deal. Lyon are expected to reject this clause. The player will head back to the Czech Republic.

Rachid Ghezzal will also exit the Groupama Stadium. The Algerian winger returned on a short contract earlier this term. Officials will not extend his agreement.

Endrick is also scheduled to leave. The Brazilian will return to Real Madrid as planned.

These exits will open doors for Kail Boudache. The youngster will arrive from OGC Nice during the summer window. He should receive more minutes on the pitch next season.
