Juventus have suffered a major setback ahead of their decisive final clash of the campaign. Star forward Kenan Yildiz will not feature in Sunday’s Turin derby against Torino after picking up a calf problem.

The Turkish international faces two to three weeks on the sidelines, according to Sky Sport Italia. This timeline means he will definitely miss the fixture on May 24, which is vital for the Bianconeri’s European hopes.

Juventus currently occupy sixth place in the Serie A table with only one fixture remaining. To secure a spot in next season’s Champions League, they must defeat their city rivals and rely on slip-ups from at least two of AC Milan, AS Roma or Como.

Despite this injury concern, Yildiz remains available for his country. The attacker will not risk missing the World Cup with Turkey, where he plays under Italian manager Vincenzo Montella.
