Venezia have officially announced the signing of Polish winger Korel Lisman from Lech Poznan as they strengthen their squad for a return to Serie A.
The Transfer
The Italian club have secured the 20-year-old for a fee reported to be around €2 million. Lisman has put pen to paper on a contract that runs until June 2030, with the club holding an option to extend for an additional season.
The deal represents a significant step in the young attacker’s career, moving from the Polish champions to the Italian top flight following Venezia’s promotion.
Player Profile
Lisman operates primarily as a wide attacker, comfortable on either the left or right flank. A product of the Lech Poznan youth system, he broke into the senior squad in 2024.
During the recent campaign, he made 22 appearances across all competitions, scoring once and providing two assists. He has also represented Poland at both Under-18 and Under-20 level.
The winger cited the club’s persistence and vision as key factors in his decision. “I decided to join Venezia because from one year they were following me and it was very impressing,” Lisman told the club’s official channels. “I feel the big trust on me from the Director Antonelli who showed me a lot of things about the club and plans.”
He also praised the supporters, adding: “For me it’s a big chance and pleasure to come here, because Venezia it’s a very big club with amazing fans and crazy atmosphere on the stadium.”
Venezia’s Busy Window
The capture of Lisman forms part of an active recruitment drive by the Venetian side, who clinched the Serie B title to secure automatic promotion back to Serie A.
The club have also added midfielder Tomas Basic on a free transfer from Lazio and secured right-sided winger Mattia Compagnon from Juve Next Gen.
These arrivals signal Venezia’s intent to build a competitive squad capable of establishing themselves in the Italian top tier after their promotion.
