FC Bayern Munich’s women’s team have completed a historic campaign by lifting the Meisterschale for the fourth consecutive season. The squad remained unbeaten throughout the league and achieved victory in every single away fixture.
Manager José Barcala guided his side to 122 goals during this dominant term. On the final day, Georgia Stanway struck an 89th-minute penalty against Hamburger SV at Volksparkstadion. This goal sealed the win and possibly marked the English international’s farewell appearance.
The champions only failed to win twice. Both draws occurred at home against Carl Zeiss Jena and TSG Hoffenheim. These results did not prevent the Spanish coach from delivering an undefeated season.

VfL Wolfsburg claimed second spot after Alexandra Popp scored two goals against Nürnberg in her last match for the club. The veteran striker will move to Borussia Dortmund ahead of the next campaign.
At the foot of the table, SGS Essen drop to the 2. Bundesliga alongside Carl Zeiss Jena. VfB Stuttgart and Mainz 05 will take their places in the top flight. Meanwhile, the reserve sides of Bayern Munich and Wolfsburg have been relegated to the Regionalliga.
