- FC Lorient president Loïc Féry confirms striker Pablo Pagis is valued at €20 million or higher
- Midfielder Arthur Avom will cost interested clubs at least €10 million
- Both players have contracts with the French club until 2027
- Lorient finished ninth in Ligue 1 this season and aims for European football
FC Lorient has become one of the most exciting teams to watch in France’s top division this campaign. The club currently holds ninth position in the Ligue 1 table after earning promotion back to the elite level. This strong performance has sparked dreams of European competition among supporters.
However, success has attracted attention from rival teams. Several clubs have shown interest in signing young striker Pablo Pagis. The 23-year-old forward has netted ten goals and created five assists across 28 league matches this term. His current deal runs until 2027.
Club president Loïc Féry has issued a clear warning to potential buyers. He stated that reports suggesting a €10 million fee for Pagis are false. “I have seen many numbers mentioned for Pablo. A striker of his age with his record does not come cheap. When I read he will leave for €10m, I can tell everyone he will not go for that price. It will be €20m or more,” Féry told Ouest-France.
The situation is similar for Arthur Avom. The 21-year-old Cameroonian midfielder has also caught the eye of scouts. He has played 31 times in Ligue 1 this season, scoring twice. Féry confirmed that any club wanting to sign Avom must pay at least €10 million. The player also remains under contract until 2027.
