  • Barcelona need €30-50m in sales to register three key signings this summer
  • Anthony Gordon has already arrived from Newcastle United for €80m
  • Julian Alvarez is the top target to replace Robert Lewandowski
  • Bernardo Silva has agreed terms but is also considering Atletico Madrid
  • Ansu Fati is set to join AS Monaco for €11m to help balance the books

Barcelona face a major financial task this transfer window. The club must sell players worth between €30 million and €50 million to officially register their new arrivals.

The Catalan giants have already paid €80 million to sign Anthony Gordon from Newcastle United. This deal shocked many supporters because the club has battled strict salary limits for several seasons.

Now the Spanish side wants to complete more business. They have identified Julian Alvarez as their main target for the striker position. The Argentine would fill the gap left by Robert Lewandowski’s departure. However, Atletico Madrid may refuse to negotiate his transfer.

Bernardo Silva offers another option. The Manchester City midfielder will leave as a free agent. He has accepted personal terms with Barcelona. Yet he remains tempted by a rival offer from Atletico Madrid.

Spanish league officials indicate that Barcelona will comply with their salary cap this summer. This status would allow the club to reinvest all money from player sales into new registrations. However, Cadena SER reports that exits remain essential. The club needs significant funds to properly register Gordon, Alvarez and Silva.

Several squad members could leave to raise money. Swedish winger Roony Bardghji looks set to depart due to a lack of playing time. Ansu Fati is close to sealing a permanent move to AS Monaco for €11 million. This transfer would end his career at the Camp Nou.

The club might also listen to offers for Marc Casado, Alejandro Balde or Jules Kounde if the price is right. None of these players want to leave though.
