French midfielder Adrien Rabiot could soon swap the San Siro for Naples. Reports from Italy indicate that the 31-year-old sits at the top of Massimiliano Allegri’s wanted list should the experienced coach succeed Antonio Conte at Napoli this summer.

The pair enjoy a lengthy working relationship from their time together at Juventus. Allegri managed Rabiot through 159 matches during their Turin spell. Their paths crossed again last summer when Rabiot joined AC Milan following his exit from Olympique de Marseille.

Corriere dello Sport claims that Allegri views Rabiot as the ideal cornerstone for his midfield revolution at Napoli. The strategist allegedly hopes to deploy the Frenchman alongside Scott McTominay. The Scottish international has thrived since his 2024 switch from Manchester United to the Partenopei.

Currently, Rabiot represents France during their 2026 FIFA World Cup qualification campaign. The former Paris Saint-Germain academy graduate remains tied to AC Milan until 2028. His existing deal reportedly brings him €5.5 million annually.
