Paris Saint-Germain president Nasser Al-Khelaifi has strongly suggested that manager Luis Enrique will extend his stay at the French club. The Spanish coach joined the Ligue 1 giants in 2024. His current deal runs until 2027. However, a new contract could be signed soon.
ICI Paris Île-de-France asked the PSG chief about the manager’s future. Al-Khelaifi gave a very positive response. “The coach is extremely happy here in Paris,” he stated. “We are very proud of him. He is the best manager in the world. What do you think that means?”
The president did not confirm the deal officially. However, his words show the club is confident about the 56-year-old’s future. Luis Enrique has already become one of the most successful managers in PSG’s history. He led the team to back-to-back Champions League titles. This makes them the first French club to achieve this feat. They beat Premier League side Arsenal on penalties in Saturday’s final.
