German newspaper Sport BILD reports that Aston Villa want to sign Serhou Guirassy. The Premier League side finished fourth last term. They will compete in the Champions League next season.

The Villains are keeping close tabs on the Borussia Dortmund forward. The 30-year-old plans to quit Signal Iduna Park when the transfer window opens. However, it remains unclear if he wishes to test himself in England’s top flight.

Guirassy scored 17 goals in 33 Bundesliga matches this campaign. Turkish giants Fenerbahçe are also pursuing the hitman. A move to the Saudi Pro League appears off the cards for now.

The Midlands club must now decide how much they are willing to pay for the striker’s signature.
