Mikel Arteta might not start Riccardo Calafiori when Arsenal face Atletico Madrid tonight. The Champions League semi-final second leg takes place at the Emirates Stadium in London.
The Italian international only returned from a one-month injury last Saturday. He played the full match in the 3-0 victory over Fulham. However, Arteta may prefer other defenders to provide more security at the back.
The Gunners welcome the Spanish side following a 1-1 draw in the first leg in Madrid. Arsenal need a positive result to advance to the final.
Calafiori is currently in his second season with the North London club. His contract with Arsenal runs until June 2029.
