- Barcelona and Bayern Munich are now the preferred destinations for the 24-year-old
- Previous interest from Arsenal, Manchester United and Chelsea has cooled recently
Juventus striker Dusan Vlahovic is keeping his options open. The Serbia forward plans to wait for proposals from either Barcelona or Bayern Munich before deciding his future.
The 24-year-old enters the final months of his contract with the Turin club. He can sign a pre-contract agreement with foreign clubs now and leave for free in the summer.
Talks over an extension had been put on hold while Vlahovic recovered from a serious injury picked up last November. He has since returned to action and found the net during the 1-1 stalemate with Verona.
However, the two parties remain far apart on financial terms. Reports suggest Juventus want to slash his current salary in half to €6 million per year. There is also disagreement regarding commission payments to his representatives.
According to Sportmediaset, Vlahovic is keen to try a new challenge outside Italy. He has already played for Fiorentina and Juventus in Serie A.
Although AC Milan showed interest and hoped to reunite him with former Juve boss Max Allegri, the striker now favours a move to either Spain or Germany.
Barcelona view him as a long-term replacement for Robert Lewandowski. The Polish striker is now 36 years old. Meanwhile, Bayern Munich want quality backup for Harry Kane.
English Premier League sides Arsenal, Manchester United and Chelsea had previously monitored the situation. That interest has quietened down in recent weeks.
