- Habib Beye faces an uncertain future at Olympique de Marseille following a string of poor results
- The Senegalese manager has been offered to AS Monaco as a potential replacement for their current boss
- Beye has secured only five victories in twelve matches since taking charge at the Stade Vélodrome
- Paris FC have also shown interest in the former Rennes coach
Habib Beye could leave Olympique de Marseille at the end of the current campaign. Reports from French outlet La Provence suggest the Senegalese coach has been put forward to AS Monaco by his representatives.
The 46-year-old has struggled to turn around the fortunes of the southern French club since arriving from Stade Rennais in January. Marseille crashed out of the Coupe de France recently. They also face the prospect of missing European football next season.
These disappointing results mean Beye is unlikely to remain at the helm beyond June. The former defender is eager to continue his managerial career elsewhere.
Monaco currently employ Sébastien Pocognoli as their head coach. However, the Belgian’s position is not secure. His departure from the principality club remains a possibility.
This uncertainty presents an opening for Beye. The Dakar-born tactician is seeking redemption after two difficult spells.
Paris FC have also emerged as potential suitors. They could offer Beye a route back into management in the French capital.
Since replacing Roberto De Zerbi at the Vélodrome, Beye has overseen just five wins from twelve fixtures. His side has suffered six defeats and managed only one draw during this period.
